Synthia is an Ibanez/Roland G-808 Guitar Synthesizer.  This guitar is equipped with an additional hex pickup which drives a synthesizer module that can provide 100’s of sounds other than guitar.  In addition, Synthia is a standard solid body, hum-bucking pickup equipped, guitar with medium tension strings.  This makes her a great jazz or rock instrument as well as a synthesizer.
